Standalone Server v1.50 available |

As announced a standalone server version for Chaser v1.50 is now available for download. The 100MB Zip File contains all files you need to run a standalone server.
Please note that this standalone server version is windows based. There will be no linux standalone server versions.
We are once again presenting to you a new Chaser in-game video. We have made

A new update is available that brings all english Chaser versions to v1.49.
Cauldron and JoWooD are proud to present an additional map pack for Chaser.
This first map pack includes five additional maps:
Arctic Siege (CTF): Government forces and Law Breakers fight for domination near the ocean coast.
Bad Place (ST, DM, TDM, CTF): Steal a notebook with important data as a Lawbreaker or protect it as a member of Government Forces in an abandoned construction site.
Night Shift (DM,TDM): An old factory is turning into a war zone of street gangs of Montack City.
Old Harbor (DM,TDM): It's gloomy, you are in old destroyed building in the harbor.
Old Hotel (ST, DM, TDM): Street gangs of Montack City are fighting for territory near an old hotel in the downtown.
Chaser editor ready for download!
In the download - maps section you can find the editor for the First Person
Shooter Chaser. With this editor you can create your own levels.

The guys from Cauldron have produced another action-packed Chaser video, which
of course we don't want to keep from you. The video shows sequences from the
game and various cinematics. You can find the video in the Downloads / Videos
section in high or low resolution.
We have put a few goodies on our homepage again for all Chaser fans. You'll find
the two latest wallpapers in the Wallpapers section under Downloads. The first
wallpaper shows John Chaser in desperate straits. On the second wallpaper you'll
see the FA-MAS weapon.

Cauldron, the Chaser developers, have put together a fansite kit for those of
you who like doing fansites. It includes logos, screenshots, artwork and a whole
lot more. The Fansite Kit Professional has 83 MB. There's also
a slimmed-down version of about 9 MB available for those with a slower
Internet connection. Have

A new update is now available that brings Chaser UK Retail to v1.46.
GameSpy.com's Chaser Preview is online, with impression of Cauldron's upcoming first-person shooter.

If you experiencing problems installing or running the UK retail version of Chaser make sure to install this emergency fix.
Please note that these patches only work for the Chaser UK retail version and
will only help if you have installation problems.
If you do encounter trouble installing the game, please download the following file before trying to install the game again:
Chaser Install Fix
Run the Chaser-Installfix.exe on your system (it will create a c:\jowoodchaser directory with a file in it). Then run the Chaser setup from the CD1 again.

The official Chaser Multiplayer Demo will be released June, 20th at around 2 PM Central European Time. The file size of the actual download will be around 150 MB. Several download mirrors will be available to download the Chaser MP demo.
These screenshots should give you a taste of what to expect from the two maps included.
We would like to inform you that we are looking forward for a release of the official Chaser Multiplayer (MP) Demo by the end of the upcoming week. The beta test of the MP Demo is still going on and progressing well.
The official Chaser MP Demo will include two game modes: Deathmatch and Shock Troops. The Deathmatch map is "Building Site". There will be also two Shock Troops maps available: "Final Strike" and "Building Strike". You will find more info about the Multiplayer Modes here.
We are also planning to have official servers with different settings available for the release of the MP Demo. These servers will be based in Germany and UK to guarantee proper connections. More info regarding the servers will be available in the upcoming week.
Be prepared for some stunning action fights once the MP Demo is released.

As you may know JoWooD is currently doing a closed community test phase of the Multiplayer Demo of Chaser. For those of you who didn't made it in the closed test phase i would like to give a brief update of the actual progress. About 200+ members of the official Chaser forum made it in to the closed test phase. All the feedback we are getting by the testers is going direclty into the final development phase of Chaser. In the upcoming days we will be doing some additional stress tests for the multiplayer demo. I would like to take the opportunity to thanks all participants of the closed test phase for all the feedback we are receiving. Special thanks goes to clan Hell's Elite Legions. Testing progress going well and we are preparing for the official release of the MP demo in like one/two weeks.
Chaser is not only interesting for single players - it also possesses one of the
best multiplayer modes of its genre. No matter whether you want to play "Capture
the Flag" or "Team Deathmatch", you'll find the relevant options in Chaser. Cauldron
will make further multiplayer maps available as soon as the game is released

You would like to test the multiplayer mode yourself? No problem!
Right now, the multiplayer demo is being thoroughly tested, but will be made available
for download within the next one or two weeks. You'll be informed as soon as the

This week we present you the Single Player (SP) Demo v1.30 of our 1st Person
Shooter CHASER.
The Demo has a size of 147 MB.
Following changes were made in the SP Demo v1.30:
* clipping issues fixed so player shouldn’t jump out of the level
* corrected problems with not playing some sounds when EAX is turned on
* corrected a minor bug in weapon selection (sometimes some weapons were skipped when select next weapon was pressed)
* action mode is not black and white now
* corrected playback of start-up AVI animations (logos)
